Unsatisfactory Person of the Week: Anchorage Mayor Dan Sullivan

After weeks of listening to testimony from Anchorage residents who have been victims of discrimination, Mayor Sullivan vetoed the gay rights ordinance the city council had passed. He said there was no evidence of such discrimination. He also pointed out that he'd received a lot of opposition to the ordinance--and that's important, I guess, because civil rights should clearly be granted on the basis of their popularity as perceived by an elected official, after all.

"This just in...I am an extremely unsatisfactory human being and elected official...film at 11..."
